Hey Equalizers + Digital Guardians,

A 3-year-old’s soccer experience turned into a viral controversy after his family said he was asked to leave a Winter Park youth soccer program because he played too well.

But how did that turn into police being called and the family being told to leave the park? 👀

I requested the records. I’m sharing both body camera recordings I received so you can see how the encounter unfolded.

At the center of this situation is Nevada, a 3-year-old child who came to play soccer. That should not get lost in this conversation. He’s THREE!

In the body camera footage, you will hear what the league official told dispatch, what officers were told on scene, and what the family said when asked by officers.

Thank you for supporting the work behind these records requests and helping me keep accountability in the conversation. Like I always say…. People Lie. Receipts Don’t.™️
