The brick and mortar option becomes available to Hillsborough County Public Schools on Monday. Does Hillsborough County Public Schools have enough staff for a “safe” reopening? 

If you review the consent agenda of the Hillsborough County School Board meetings, the personnel actions that are approved by the Board are public records. We are not going to tell you the answer. We will simply provide the receipts of the public records to form your own analysis.  

The teacher shortage is real and about to get much worse. The support staff shortage is real and about to get much worse. COVID-19 is expected to create an economic slowdown and shortfalls in tax revenue. How long can our local public school systems go without sufficient staff and funding?  

Thank you to our frontline workers doing the best they can to make things happen. Please say a special prayer to our educators and support staff. We are not prepared for Monday!  

We would ask Hillsborough County Public Schools for a comment, but they were untruthful during our last request. People lie. Receipts don’t!
